Dawn Kiddy Petersfields LLP

Dawn Kiddy

Dawn is a partner and has been a qualified solicitor since 1997. Before that she was a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and has over thirty years' experience of working in the law.

Dawn specialises in dispute resolution and has wide experience of dealing with all types of cases and is able to guide them through negotiation, mediation or Court proceedings. Dawn also has experience of High Court defamation cases, an expertise not widely found outside of London.

Outside of law Dawn’s interests are reading good quality fiction, theatre and the great outdoors, particularly horseracing (as a spectator) and lots of walking. If she wasn’t a lawyer she says she would be a pig farmer.

Dawn also provides advice to small businesses, including both established and start-up enterprises.

Nick Timmings

Nick is a partner and has been a qualified solicitor since 1993.

Nick specialises in wills and probate, as well as powers of attorney and other aspects of private client work. 

Outside of the law Nick’s interests include writing, reading, cinema and theatre. He acts in his spare time, and also writes and directs plays. He was the Chairman of Ely Amateur Dramatic Society for ten years.

Nick Timmings

Nick specialises in wills and probate, as well as powers of attorney and other aspects of private client work. He also advises both employers and employees on employment law matters.

Outside of the law Nick’s interests include writing, reading, cinema and theatre. He acts in his spare time, and also writes and directs plays. He is the Chairman of Ely Amateur Dramatic Society.

Julia Petersfields LLP

Julia Korona

Julia is an experienced solicitor, having qualified in 2002 and is recognised as a family law specialist under the Law Society's Family Law Accreditation Scheme. She is also been a member of Resolution since 2002, and a Collaborative Solicitor since 2009.

Julia deals with all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial matters, children issues, cohabitation/separation agreement, and pre and post nuptial agreements.

Outside of work, Julia is the Chair and a Trustee of Compassion, a Domestic Violence Charity. She is also a Parish Councillor.

Emma Martin

Emma is a paralegal and she assists with all areas of work undertaken by Petersfields. Before joining us, she worked as a paralegal at trademark law firm.

Emma has had an unusual career path to the law. She is a qualified biomedical scientist and she previously worked in several clinical histopathology laboratories up and down the country.

In 2016 Emma joined the University of Law and undertook a part-time degree in law. She graduated in 2019. She then enrolled at BPP University where she completed her LPC and she graduated in 2022.

Outside of work Emma’s interests are spending quality time with her little boy, going for walks, dancing and catching up with friends.
