Potential areas of dispute can include whether there was undue influence in the making of the Will; whether the person making the Will was of sound mind and aware of its meaning; or whether it was properly signed in the presence of two independent witnesses.
If no provision was made for a dependent in a Will then the terms of the Will may be challenged and a court can be asked to make provision for those who should have been provided for. This can include a spouse or partner, and also a minor or a mentally disabled person.
Here at Petersfields we have the knowledge and experience to deal with both contentious and non-contentious matters.
